A musician brings live music performed by an individual musician. Tell us about your event and the atmosphere you want to create.
A musician can add a lot of atmosphere to your event with just one instrument. A pianist, guitarist, or violinist brings a different sound than a saxophonist or percussionist. We help you choose based on instrument, repertoire, and where the music is needed during your program.

How to choose
Start with the sound you want to hear. Are you looking for calm melodies during a reception, or should an instrument provide a clear live moment? A harp has different possibilities than drums or a trumpet. Tell us what your guests are doing at that moment. We then look at which instruments and playing styles match the atmosphere. The instrument name alone does not tell you how a musician performs.
Also ask if the artist plays solo or uses accompaniment. A guitarist can provide quiet background music but also visibly engage the audience. A saxophonist alongside a DJ requires different coordination. We discuss the technical possibilities and the location of the performance. An acoustic instrument sounds different in a small quiet room than at a busy party. Therefore, provide the location and tell us how much attention the music should receive. This way, you don't just choose an instrument, but a musical interpretation that fits.
Prices
The price of a musician depends on the instrument, playing time, and date. Some instruments are easy to transport. Others require more space, transport, or specific facilities on location. The travel distance also plays a role. We discuss what performance you have in mind and whether extra preparation is needed for the repertoire.
Sound can be a second cost factor. A musician in a quiet room may not need amplification. At a busy event, a microphone or connection to a system may be important. Ask who provides the necessary technology. We take the room layout and desired volume into account.
Also consider the collaboration with other artists. A solo performance requires less musical coordination than a contribution alongside a DJ or band. If you want to hear a special song, let us know early. In our proposal, we like to distinguish between the performance itself, transport, preparation, and any equipment.

Occasions
During a ceremony, a musician can accompany a personal moment. A violinist or pianist, for example, brings a different atmosphere than percussion. We discuss what sound you are looking for and which song or program part is important. During a reception, a musician can provide the background. Then repertoire and volume must leave room for conversations.
An instrumental contribution can also fit during a dinner, anniversary, or corporate event. Do you want guests to listen, or are you mainly looking for a mood accent? Tell us how you use the space.
At a party with a DJ, a musician can sometimes play live, but that requires a suitable musical and technical combination. We also look at the place for the instrument. This clarifies what is practically needed and why the chosen instrument adds something to the occasion.

Reviews
“We hired OnDestination for our 18th birthday. It was the first time we hired a DJ, so we were a bit skeptical about how everything would go. Fortunately, Dominique was very clear and open about his approach from the start. He provided good equipment himself and also arranged the transportation. Additionally, he coordinated everything seamlessly with the venue manager and ensured a smooth setup and breakdown. After giving him a few favorite songs, he managed to keep the atmosphere lively all evening. In short, thanks to OnDestination, it was a great party.”
“From the first contact, it felt right: professional, relaxed, and completely in tune with what we had in mind. On the evening itself, they brought exactly the right energy at the right moment, and the dance floor was never empty. Truly a recommendation if you're looking for a service that understands what your event needs!”
FAQ
That depends on the atmosphere you are looking for and the space. A melodic instrument can remain in the background, but the repertoire makes a big difference. Tell us which music you like. We look at which musician and form of performance can suit the reception.
That is possible with certain instruments and suitable spaces. In a room with a lot of background noise, acoustic playing is not always clearly audible. Provide the location and program to us. We discuss whether microphones or other technology are needed to make the music sound good.
You can provide a title or recording. The musician can then assess whether the piece fits the instrument and the available accompaniment. Sometimes a request requires extra preparation. We are happy to discuss what is possible, so you don't let an important moment depend on an unconfirmed piece.
That varies per artist and instrument. A large keyboard instrument requires different arrangements than a violin or guitar. Therefore, ask not only about the musician but also about the instrument provision. We are happy to establish what is brought and what the location may need to arrange.
That depends on the instrument, sound system, and how guests use the space. Describe whether the music is a listening moment or plays in the background. We look at the necessary amplification and a suitable place. This way, you prevent the instrument from being drowned out.
Some musicians offer that possibility. Discuss which instrument you are looking for and what the DJ plays. We look at whether the musical styles and technology align. A joint performance requires clear agreements about inputs, sound, and the moments when the musician plays along.
