About the artist

DJ Dominique

From André Hazes to Shakira, mixed with the most famous dance hits? For DJ Dominique, it's not an unusual combination. His strength lies precisely in the unexpected: blending different styles in such a way that it seems like one cohesive whole, mixed in a unique way.

DJ Dominique is a versatile DJ with a broad music selection and a strong focus on smooth mixes. He doesn't just look at what's planned on paper, but especially at the audience. Who's on the dance floor? What is the crowd responding to? When should the tempo increase and when is it wiser to slow down a bit? This constant switching makes every set different. A wedding, for example, requires a different approach than a corporate party or a large event. With a mixed audience, it's often about finding the music where different groups can connect. That's exactly where his broad repertoire comes in handy.

And then those unexpected combinations. A Dutch classic next to an international pop hit, followed by an electronic track? If mixed well, it can work surprisingly well. DJ Dominique actively seeks out those kinds of moments. His sets are energetic, but not just because the music is loud. The energy mainly comes from the way the music is built up and how quickly he can respond to the audience. From an intimate wedding to a large corporate party: the music is tailored to the occasion, the audience, and the moment of the evening.

So do you have a playlist you've gone through a hundred times and think: this needs to be better? Then leave it to DJ Dominique. Give him an audience, a turntable, and some musical freedom. Before you know it, you'll hear a combination you didn't know you needed.
